Creating the Free Kill Zone

Milwaukee County Corruption did surveys on malls involving conceal carry and open carry of arms on mall premises.

Much to our surprise,

Mayfair Mall is the only mall we found that will prosecute visitors for trespassing if visitors are found armed on their premises.  All other malls surveyed will ask visitors to leave.

Dilemma #1:

For the patrons that visit their stores, Mayfair Mall has created a free kill zone.

Dilemma #2:

Mayfair Mall prosecutes visitors for bringing arms onto their property, so why wouldn't Mayfair Mall charge the police with trespassing if and when MPD enters Mayfair Mall property with arms to sell?

Further, if visitors or MPD did or would sell arms on Mayfair Mall property, would, could or should Mayfair Mall prosecute sellers of arms on Mayfair Mall’s property?

Bringing arms onto Mayfair Mall premises with the intent to sell those arms is an interesting legal question regarding trespassing that may be answered in the future.

Is the use of private property to facilitate an arms transaction  without the permission of the owner/tenants an act of trespassing?

The future may hold the answer.
